This session will look at options and techniques for entering the initial project design and includes but is not limited to:
a. Top down design.
b. Schedule options affecting Project’s behavior when sequencing, converting to automatic scheduling.
c. Inactivate: a cool new tool for analysis. (When it’s used correctly.)
d. Analyzing schedule and planning issues with Project’s new Task Inspector.
e. Usage techniques since the release of 2010.

After attending the session the attendee should: 1) understand the concept of top down design. 2) Select options that best reflect their needs in their organization's project management environment. 3) Understand the new Inactivate feature. 4) Analyze and correct errors using the Task Inspector.
