Microsoft Project is indeed a scheduling tool, and a powerful one at that. Therefore, a good mindset for allowing Microsoft Project to be a scheduling tool is warranted. The YJTJ Process is designed to provide that mindset by providing project managers with the ability to work in concert with, as opposed to in conflict with, Microsoft Project. The YJTJ concepts provide the foundational building blocks that enable successful project, resource, and portfolio management. Mastering the YJTJ process will greatly assist you with using Microsoft Project on a day-to-day basis. Please join Dan Renier from Milestone Consulting for an exciting presentation, initially created in September 2004 for the Microsoft Project Global Customer Advisory Council. This presentation has been requested by Microsoft for the 2012 Microsoft Project Conference as well as numerous global and local Microsoft, PMI, and MPUG conferences since 2004.
